【Working principle】
There are two detection methods for the laser online thickness gauge, namely double-sided laser detection (two laser triangulation sensors) and single-sided roller detection (one laser triangulation sensor), both of which measure the distance between the sensor and the surface of the material to be measured. Depending on the design arrangement, an additional sensor, usually a high-precision turbine sensor, is used to measure the distance between the two-sided sensor or to measure the distance between the single-sided sensor and the reference roll.
The thickness of the product is the difference between the measured values. The data is processed and calculated by the microprocessor embedded in the SimVision DML sensor, and the data of the upper and lower laser sensors and the turbine sensor are collected at the same time, and a large number of temperature compensation sensors are added to compensate for the deformation of the sensor housing, thus achieving real-time processing of thickness measurements.
